Call your rental agency right away and let then know. Under no circumstances should garbage be bagged and left outside by the can. Animal attraction and intrusion is almost a certainty and is not acceptable.
Normal garbage pickup for Dory Pointe is Wednesday morning and should be left out Tuesday night in a bear proof garbage can/cans with a completely closed lid, or at least make sure the lid stays down.
Call your rental agency, they may be able to arrange for a special pickup.
There is currently no curb side pickup of recycling in Pacific City. A few of the rentals have more then one can, so even if the extra can is a different color, it is for garbage. ( I understand Tillamook county is working on a solution)

There is a path that goes just north of the Shore Pine development, walk to the end of that path and then head south until you run into the boardwalk OR head north for access at Pelican.

There is a well stocked Marketplace just a short walk north of us and on the same side of Cape Kiwanda Dr.
We also have a larger store with more selection about a 1.4 miles in the other direction. Just navigate to "Chester's Pacific City"

Moments Surf Shop is just a short walk north of us and next to Ben & Jeff's on the west side of Cape Kiwanda Dr. They have a cool well stocked shop. (They also have and a great webcam)
There is a OREGON COAST BANK branch. They have a drive up ATM
